I have 3 different color of kalanchoe (not knowing what color Joe sent me). One is the orangey pink, a yellow, and a red with white inside the petals :) Kalanchoe is such a forgiving plant.....which is a good...
I do the same with mesquite trees. A mesquite won't bud unless the frost's are all over with. Unfortunately I did not pay attention to my mesquites this year. :/

My SIL/BIL out in AZ built their home from straw bales. I dunno if they did it because of evironmental stuff or just to save on their elec bill. I haven't ever seen it.... :/
DH wanted me to tell you - the torsion spring CAN be rebuilt. He has the technology....lol
He says if you cut here and apply a couple of wedges there then bend some thingy (part of the coil, I think) over you will have an extension spring :hu
