Would anyone help me identify what this plant is? It was from a pack of a mixture of old fashioned flower seeds. I threw them into the flower bed a little late in the season so this plant has not flowered. I am very curious as to what it is. The leaves are velvety on both sides.

I don't know about crossing state lines with bees. Check with the Ag department (County agriculture dept.) about this. If you do harvest the old honey from the hive, make sure you leave some for the bees. You don't want them to starve over the winter or have to feed them...
