    Planting tomatoes in June??

    I ordered 5 or 6 tomato varieties from Heirloom Seeds in February, but they still haven't shipped, I just heard that they were shipping the end of April. I'm in zone 6b.     Cucumbers

    Hi! First post here- I'm over on BYC too- I direct seeded and transplanted cucumbers last year, and the direct seeded ones did WAY better. I'm going to try both this year again, using the peat pots, I think I messed with their roots too much transplanting last year.
