What is your quirky way to plant potatoes?

No, but my dad used old tires. As they grew he just threw on another one and more soil.

    Do you keep a journal?

No journal. I tried, just don't keep up with it. It's so easy to plan these things when it's 30 degrees out but when it's gardening season I am too busy doing so many different things that I don't sit down and monitor things. I just create a map of what I have planted and what day I...

I did do a search and found one ( http://www.coolstuff4u.net/product/8148/Beer_Drinking_Garden_Gnome_Outdoor_Statue_Spitter.html ) But I was just wondering if there was a place that was a favorite of the gardeners here on TEG.

    First post/Garden Gnome

Hello. I have been a lurker here since Jan. when I joined BYC. Needed to join to to take advantage of all the search features and such. Where is a good source for garden gnomes? I am looking for a gnome drinking a beer.
