The channel 7 weather app on my phone says it is 49*, feels like 47* & mostly cloudy. On the daily forecast (same app) at this time it is supposed to be 56* and mostly sunny. HA!

I planted spinach this past fall. It never really started to grow until late winter. When it was almost big enough to harvest, it bolted. I'm planting more kale, put in some swiss chard and I have malabar spinach sprouting. I've never tried it, but it's a vine that grows well in the heat.

It was 75* Saturday morning. Woke up to 40* this morning with a high of 56*. Calling for 32*-34* for the next 2 mornings. We're supposed to be back in the 80's by Thursday. It's like a roller coaster.

We ended up with 1/2" of rain today. The severe stuff petered out when it got to us. The sun will be nice, but it comes with colder weather. It's going to be back into the 30's for the lows. :barnie
