Indeed Spring has sprung! The glacier covering my back yard is now nearly all melted, I've been able to walk my stir-crazy dog around the pasture and to the mailbox, and daffodils and daylilies are staring to poke their heads out of the ground.

I saw it from my bedroom window. This was also the "worm moon" so named because this is the time of year when earthworms emerge from the ground, attracting flocks of robins. (One news person once remarked,"They could have named it the robin moon, but no, they settled on worm moon!")

I probably could, but I'd have to connect my TV to the internet, and I've resisted doing that for security reasons. I'm pretty confident they will re-run the series, and If not, it should become available on DVD.

No kidding?! All I could find online were streaming outlets, yet here it was on an old school TV network! I set it to record the series. All the schedule shows right now is episode 4, but I'm assuming they will air the last episode of this season, as well as re-running earlier episodes...

Drat, this show is only available on streaming. I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD, which hopefully it will do.

Whoever said such nonsense? Dunno about straw or shavings, but horse manure is a gardener's gold. People today have lost touch with nature, and with the cycle of plants nourishing animals, and animals in turn nourishing plants.

Don't feel too bad; mine were all eaten by voles. (My daffodils fare better because apparently they are not so tasty.)
