We actually did this for some time, we called them delacaunas, and marketed them locally as meat birds.They sold quickly, we retired the flock this year they are four years old now. They grew huge, are very tasty, and still give you the joy of a pretty green egg. :D
I think you have done a wonderful job with picture of the week.:hugs I tend to not care what is submitted then enjoy the pleasant surprise of a terrific new picture when it pops up. I have thoroughly enjoyed each new picture.

Yes pictures :clap We have had japanese mapels, you know the little ones that are 60+ $ for sale on craigslist $20 because people were moving or small local plant nurseries were going out of business. If only I had the space.:\
