Aside from chicken poo what is a good fertilizer for bush beans?

Bush beans or any other type of beans actually don't need very much fertilizer. Regular garden soil will be fine. Just make sure that the soil is well drained. :)

Does anyone know how to dry beans?

Hi! I've been drying beans for a long time. In fact, I breed beans! The ones I have now are on thier 4th generation. Once you've selected the plant(s) you want to take the seeds from, you stop watering it as much. Sometimes, I don't water them at all. After a couple of day the plant will start...

Why can't my strawberry plants ever live!!?!?!?

Every year, I buy some perfectly healthy strawberry plants from my local nursery, and they always die. They just dry up and die! This year I bought a small strawberry plant and it was doing perfect for about a month -it even started growing flowers. Then, all of a sudden it started drying up and...

    Rosemary

Usually, you can buy it at any store that has a garden center. They are very easy to grow and are very hardy. If you buy your rosemary in a small pot, immetiatly trans plant it into your garden or a larger pot. Then from there, the plant will be growing very fast.

I have an herb garden! I have some of my herbs in pots. But most of them are grown strait into the garden. All herbs need well-drained soil. Green Beans turning yellow-What the heck is that!!

Is the soil well drained? It could be that the water can't find a way out and stays there all day. Beans need well drained soil.

    Newbie needs help planting herbs

As long as the herbs have good, well drained, soil, they should be fine. You don't need to give them fertilizer, just make sure that their leaves are a glossy-green, radiant , healthy color. If the base of the leaf is yellow but the rest is green, that is a sign that the plant either needs more...

    Newbie needs help planting herbs

I think you may have over fertilized them. I never give my herbs fertilizer on the first day home. I wait a bit untill they get accustomed to the weather and they start to grow a bit more (or spread). Some people say that herbs are "Heavy Feeders." Herbs are totally not heavy feeders. (except...
