Soy is a complete protein. It contains essential amino acids, our bodies building blocks, making it a high-quality meat alternative for vegans and carnivores alike.

Goja grows relatively slowly in my climate. I'm not overly enthusiastic about them, due to the picking process. I eat from my two bushes usually raw. Actually they were grown from seed about four years ago and are excellent.
http://www.durgan.org/URL/?CNHIB 26 June 2012 Paneer.
Paneer is a simple cheese without any additives. My method is to use three litres of skim milk, heat to 120F in a double boiler to control the temperature and to prevent burning of the bottom of the pot if set directly on the heat. After 120F...
There is nothing new for me in those articles. In fact both are a bit wishy washy and one was plagiarized from the other.. I was in contact with U of M several years ago. At that time they didn't even know how a potato plant grew. There was absolutely nothing on the internet except nonsense. The...
I dispute this conclusion. The number of stems growing has almost nothing to do with the size of the potatoes. One eye will produce many above ground stems. All the vegetation contributes to all the new tuber growth. Twelve eyes are seldom encountered. I have carefully measured the weight and...
I went the same routes you mention. Finally I got on my hands and knees and set each seed in carefully. It is a pain but worth the effort. The area method can be awkward when digging the carrots. Now I prefer the row method as shown.

Cold room construction in the utility room in the basement. Purpose is for storing garden produce. Potatoes, carrots, Brussels sprouts, beets, etc.
This is the cold room built in my basement. Space...
I made many batches of wine in the past, but don't even desire it now. Plain juice is made from the grapes of my five vines. No grapes in 2012, since a frost in early April killed all the beginning blossoms. March was very warm and the budding started too early in the season, which killed much...
Seeds tapes, both home made and commercial fall short of expectations. Carrots can be a problem if not handled so germination occurs.

A 25 foot row of carrot seed was planted. Method is to mark the row, rototill, flatten surface...
GMO soy beans are only a small part of the concerns. Roundup is the culprit. Almost every commercial producer uses Roundup if it is suitable to their crop. A weed free field is more often than not an indicator that Roundup has been used. Some weeds are genetically being modified and they are...

Opinion is one thing, facts are mostly not disputable.
My attack on the commercial food supply is based on HFCS, Glued Meat, Pink Slime and all sugar and salt laced prepared food. And additives to improve shelf life with effects seldom known. Probably affecting our health over time.
I started with about 8 small plants from another person's garden. They spread over time. From two plants you will get several quarts of berries. Each year is different. My patch is only 3 by 8 feet and I get around 15 quarts. My preference is for the thornless blackberries on a concrete mesh...
>How many elderberry bushes do you have? I planted 2 in My 2009. This is the first year I really got anything. I froze the berries. I can't decide what to do with them. I don't >have a lot. Do they spread? It seemed like I had a small bush plus my 2 other ones. Also, I read on yor website -...
It took me awhile to decide what type of raspberry I had (Fall Bearing). In your case, for sure, at least remove the stems that had berries and leave the remainder of the vegetation.
I have two thornless blackberry also, and am still a bit confused about pruning them. Mine are four years old...
The large potatoes are cut into pieces insuring at least two eyes in each piece. The whole potato is utilized. After cutting, the pieces are set aside until the wounds harden and seal over. If there are sufficient quantity about the size of a golf ball or slightly smaller are planted. Almost any...
I had an ornamental sweet potato growing in a pot. At the end of the season upon throwing it in the compost pile, two large tubers were in the bottom. Immediately they were recovered and baked in the oven. My wife considered them to be the most pleasant sweet potato that she had ever eaten...
