"Not for human consumption" seeds. Have you snacked on some?

Update. I had bought and ate a whole 10# bag of shelled sunflower bird seed. No issues. That was 10 years ago.

Can these grow in containers or must be planted?

Got some bigger, used pots for up-potting. 🤦🏽‍♀️ lost the seed pack of the sunflowers i bought... Found a pic with just enough clues to figure out it's "dwarf incredible sunflower". So, going to repot them.

    Restarting the garden

4-9yrs for native persimmon trees to fruit. Hmm, I wonder how long these have been here. Height of 30-80 feet, spread of 20-35 feet. Well, these near the house definitely can't stay long term! Wonder if they can be trimmed to stay small...Big one is 10ft or so from the porch.

Mowed around the garden, it was getting ridiculous. Lol Hmm, is that how heads prestart? Idk, but they're finally doing something besides being huge. Lol

    Restarting the garden

First day of June, hot! Peppers exploded in growth. Definitely doubling the spacing next year... Carrots Potatoes Tomato forest lol Strawberries. I hate how they need yearly thinning and replanting to get berries. Going to find some other way to plant them. Maybe long, shallow planters up...

Put up a bit of shade for the cauliflowers, since it's 85-90s. 2 of the 4 cukes are happy.

Tell me everything about rooting cuttings!

Had to put up shade. Way too hot out to work otherwise. Then found rocks and plastic in the "dirt". Got them potted up! They'll move to full sun soon.

    FINALLY! A Pawpaw tree!!

It really is. These are understory trees, not sterile fruit farm trees. They'll survive or not, no reason to baby culls.

Tell me everything about rooting cuttings!

Hedge cuttings moved to full sun. Gotta figure out where to plant them. Some other cuttings growing. Gotta pot up the little trees. Maybe repot the tropical mystery plants while I'm at it.

    Restarting the garden

Small pumpkin, 2 funky pumpkins and 2 mini pumpkins. Got three 20gal bags ready and then planted them this morning. Husband bought onion seeds. Way too late, but planted them anyway. We'll see what happens. Pumpkin locations. Going to have them grow along the fence. Gotta move this stuff...

    FINALLY! A Pawpaw tree!!

I'm not growing hundreds of them to produce tons of fruit, so the grass is fine.

Can these grow in containers or must be planted?

Idk why I didn't think of it sooner. Putting up a mini wall blocks the sun from baking the pots and drying them out! Duh!

    FINALLY! A Pawpaw tree!!

There's got to be better drippers or filters! They're always getting clogged. There's filters at the spigot, out at the end of the hose to tube joint and barrels have them on the spigot. And house has filters. Every 2wks or so, I'm out there blowing to gunk out of the 30 or so drippers.... Ones...
