O.M.GOSH!!! WHO did they bury?!?!?!?!?
They keep giving us clues--the sneaker, the quilt, the car, the witnesses--but nothing is definitive. DH thinks that they wrote and rewrote and went over this script with a fined toothed comb during COVID.
I just hope that they "stick the landing!"
Don't feel badly, @Dahlia . Just read an article about growing peas problems, and I may have just planted them too early. I have Plenty of extra peas to plant! :hugs
Steady rain since middle of the night. There was one break, so I could get the 2024 beef out of the downstairs freezer and move the cars. DH and DD's both drove down 45 minutes to the locker to pick it all up this morning.
I just got the truck and the 2 cars back in the garage. I emptied out...
The only update is that we have a Monday morning appt. to get a CTScan. All parties got the right documents to the animal hospital mid state.
They sent me a confirmation email, and I clicked on confirmation and filled out their consent.
Poor doggie! She hasn't been able to breathe right for...
They are like any other saddle...some are comfortable, a few a super comfortable (for the rider) AND some are just God awful to sit.
This officer's saddle just never gives you a good ride. When our 3 DD's were at an event we had them walk our horses cool. NOBODY wanted to ride the officer's...
I go all 15 seed potatoes, Purple Majesty IN THE GROUND!!! It's already raining and won't stop until Sunday afternoon, so the timing is great.
I also finished cleaning out the 14 1/2 cu ft freezer. We pick up "Greenland" tomorrow morning, all 963 pounds of Black Angus.
I Finally got my 15 cuts of Purple Majesty potatoes planted!! :woot:woot:woot
Yesterday I dug the trenches, and today I made sure that they were deep and wide and I hand tilled the big pieces and used my hand rake to push back the dirt.
3rd fence down has 9 potatoes north of the fence.
2nd fence...
OK, this is one.Weird. Spring.
First, I was moving things around and drove past my beautiful "never gives me peaches" peach tree AND it has 7 flowers on it! :th
Next, although I dug the trenches for the 15 seed potatoes yesterday, I Really should have had my phone. First shovel full midway down...
You might just use some small fenceposts, build you walls with chicken wire, and make a gate. No electricity needed and most dogs aren't likely to jump inside of your enclosure.
It has over 30 FLOWERS on it. I think this is why the expert said only Apple Trees should grow here!
The apple trees and the cherry tree and the pear tree ONLY have buds.
NObody told my peach tree to Wait!! :th
We need to start selling them while there are still CW Reenactors to buy them.
DH and I will be keeping our favorites.
The best Looking McClellan is an Officer's Saddle, that our commander was gifted, and he gave it to US when he retired.
It is AWFUL to sit this saddle...but it's pretty!
Coffee with honey yogurt this morning, which was SuPPOSED to be me sleeping in, but I forgot to tell my Phone, so the alarm went off at 10 to 5AM, and I got up anyway, and I had a pile of dishes to do that I DIDN'T want to do Yesterday, but I did it ALL, in between cups of coffee and cleaning...
I finished the chicken broth yesterday.
Lids, lids, lids--I used ONE crummy lid, all the rest were BALL lids, it didn't seal and Broke one of my pints IN the canner!!! :rant:hit
Left me with an UNneccessary mess to clean up.
7 pints canned, one quart refrigerated for a couple of me lunches...
I will look, but the hobby zenithed in the late 1990's, 2008 financial collapse almost killed it off.
What is left now is a shell, and it is now mostly just Living History, and it's a crap shoot as to who really knows their history that is still reenacting.
The Sutlers that are still around are...
Weeeeellllllllll...I "Tented" my tree, aGAIN....it only got down to 36 degrees, but I'll live with that. Gotta take Down the tent today, highs in the 60's, light breeze, and rain tomorrow. Don't wanna have to dry out the tent before I fold/roll it up again.
I imagine if you thaw it out, make sure that it is totally dry, they label a small, snack sized (or smaller, if you have it,) ziplock bag and send it in That, it should be fine.
