I'm sitting here listening to the ducklings. Their little chirps are very beautiful and pleasant to hear. It's almost making me feel like I could just take a nap.

I decided to get a jump start on the summer crops: I have fennel, holy basil, zucchini, pumpkin, cushaw pumpkin, gourds, apple and olive.

Thank you. My plan is to make the garden easy for the grandkids to be able to come down and just have fun grazing and learning how to grow their own food.

Thank you. I was with my oldest daughter yesterday and a lady was talking about gardening but she hasn't had any luck with her garden so I told her tons of information on how she could have a good garden and actually get some food from it. She was very happy with the information and ideas.

@Shades-of-Oregon, I told my husband and he just seems to think that it's nothing special about the pocket herb planter but I told him it's a compliment take it so he said okay. He's really kinda strange like that 😂

Not on both sides because I only bought one. I bought it about 3 years ago so it's been moved around a lot and I just decided that this is the year for putting it in use. I'm going to try to put herbs in it and yes some spinach lettuce and probably a couple of strawberry plants. I will tell my...

Found a patch of potatoes that I didn't get dug up in the fall so I planted them in the big pallet bed and then went ahead and planted the rest of the potato seeds.

Had to put some stuff around the stairstep bed because Athena got into it and dug some of the soil out. My husband was trying to burn the wood on the big pallet bed but stopped before he caught it on fire due to the shredded paper.

Got most of my big pallet bed filled. Now I need more soil and then it's time for potatoes and hopefully dandelions. I'm thinking about maybe putting my strawberry plants in at the South East corner.

Tomatoes are fairly forgiving plants. That's probably the only plant that I haven't ever killed. If you need anything, advice wise, we're all here for you and so happy to have you here.

Thank you. I'm happy to have them. I hope that you can one day take a step inside the garden world. I love knowing that all I have to do is walk out to the garden and start snacking, AKA (grazing), and I don't really need to eat huge meals that make me feel bloated from too much food. Everything...
