Wow, I thought Dakota Bumble seeds only come in the three colors I have. Of course, I would like the original seed pack from Prairie Road Organics. I'm happy to send you something back.

@meadow, I planted all Dakota Bumble colors (black, white and motley à la Jacob's Cattle) in separate rows. There was only one white seed in the sample I got from Great Lakes Staple Seeds. Last year, I planted it at home in a pot, and now I had a dozen seeds at my disposal.

@flowerbug, I planted all the beans you sent me. That's how Yed grows. I noticed that Spotted Pheasant seeds had two mottling patterns, so I planted them separately.

@BeanieQueen It is a systemic fungicide, in the form of a powder, for treatment on dry or in the form of water suspension. In Poland it is called Funaben.

@Boilergardener I first soak the seeds in a fungicide and then put them in a box with moist paper towels. I plant them in the ground when the sprouts appear.

My Frost seeds, which the @saritabee sent me, germinated 100%. These were the rest of the seeds from the Frost sample she once received from @Bluejay77 as network bean. For now, the plants are growing without any problems and in a moment they will start climbing poles. Maybe they are already...

It was the last cool night, around 3 C, the next ones a bit above 10 C. During the day an average of 20 C. On Friday I take a vacation and start transplanting beans.

Unfortunately, I won't have any lima beans this year. Due to my various obligations, I have no place for it. I'll fix it in 2023. Funny, this season hasn't really started yet, and I'm already thinking about the next one :)

@Bluejay77 Before transplanting seedlings, I give nitrochalk in a dose of 100 g / 10 m2. This is for starters, before root nodules form and the beans start taking nitrogen from the air.

The network beans have 100% sprouted. The Flowerbugs too :-) This year May is quite warm, so they grow in a foil tunnel. They are covered with fleece at night. After May 15, I will start transplanting. The weather forecasts are promising and the places are almost prepared.

In Polish plantations, the spacing between plants is 50 cm. Spot sown seeds, 2-3 pieces each. Piękny Jaś grows very high and expands strongly to the sides.

I rub the edge of the seeds with a nail file. They absorb water and swell immediately.

This is the Ocean View segregation that I found in 2020. I sowed it on February 18 and it grows in a pot on the window sill. Bush bean, but the plant is very tall, about 70 cm. The seeds are large and flat. I am very curious what is hidden in the pods. I will find out soon.
