I just love that the garden is getting so much attention. It has to be a good thing to inform people about growing there own food and knowing where it comes from!

I ordered from them and so far have received 2 shipments when they said they would arrive. I still have 2 more shipments to come but I can look at the website and see when they are scheduled to be shipped according to when they need planted in my zone...we'll see if they arrive as promised. lol...
I think my problem started out that way....it dried out too quickly so I over compensated and then the water ran out the bottom onto the puny little tomato and rotted it! lol Good thing the 20 other upright tomato plants in the garden did better.

I never started borccoli from seed before, always bought plants. These sprouts are the most spindly things I've ever seen. Is that normal for broccoli?

That's when Henry Fields has mine scheduled for delivry and they usually scheduele stuff so it arrives near planting time.
Today I planted peas, lettuce and spinach seeds out in the garden.
I found volunteer onions, a potato sprout and garlic! I just love seeing anything green this time of year. lol
I also planted some iris tubers that I dug out last fall and were sprouting in the garage. :thumbsup

I totally missed the shade part. You are correct that all the above mentioned berries are going to want a good bit of sun if not full sun.

I thought I'd be smart and go to the "Pro". My step son has a masters degree in landscape architecture and has always loved ponds so I sent him the pics. His reply was. "Too hard to tell with plants that small." lol
