and also there needs to be a reminder to every potential dog owner that the dogs you see in movies or on-line are usually well-trained and you're not seeing all the work through the years to get them to that point.
i missed a previous post where you got rid of the horse you had before that looks now to have not worked out. i do recall though that there were issue with her being spooked at times and worries about that not being safe with children, so kudoes on you knowing that and being able to move on.

yes, that's about how to do it, with a cone of dirt that you put the crown on top and then the roots out around.
generally you do not want the crown to be too far above the level of the dirt but also not buried too far down. watering them in after planting and...
i hope you did some reading up first or knew how to do that without poisoning yourself?! it is certainly one of those things that if you just went into it and drank everything that came out you'd be in for some trouble eventually...
also @digitS' it is good to remember that wine has often a good byproduct in vinegar which is a good preservative and cleaner. any crop that has more than one use is valueable. grape seed oil is also useful as are grape leaves... raisins, fresh eating grapes.
it has been a long time since i last enjoyed a good dark beer. after my old friend passed away i no longer had my once in a while beer and bratwurst (and saurkraut!) buddy to visit a few times a year.
i've usually had reasonable results from growing them but like many other larger beans they don't really like it here when it gets hot out here and if i don't keep enough water on them or they get too much rain all at once the pods will not fill well developed beans.
