At least you had a great season of growing. My garden is still going but I'm only going to get spaghetti squash and pumpkins. It's not a good year for me but I'm so happy to hear that you had a great garden this year

I meant to post this. My husband and I had our 40th anniversary 2 days ago.

Today I found 8 to 10 more pumpkins to pick but I still have pumpkins to get processed and I need to get the pomegranates processed into jelly and syrup.

I also found one that I tried to move and found it was already off the vine so I brought it in even though it's still not ripe because it's really green.

I went out to the garden today. I found MORE PUMPKINS. I have 3 that are ready to pick because they are orange. The big one is still green but I think I have about 15 more out there. I just can't see them.

The weather app lied. It said that the rain was only a drizzle at 4 pm and that's not caused by a drizzle.

We just got hit with a serious round of liquid sunshine 😁

They will definitely be able to access it from all sides. I'm thinking that if I bury it about 4 inches in the ground they will have better access to it.

I'm thinking about using a big tote to put in the run for a composting system. I can drill numerous small holes in it for aeration and since I did watch Mohawk gobble down a mouse I think it might work. If anyone has any ideas or advice I would greatly appreciate it. I have a roll of hardware...

I'm close enough to Redding to use the frost date for them. It's also good to know that they will ripen off the vine

I'm hoping that my pumpkins ripen before it gets too cold. It's already getting cold at night so hopefully they will. I have a large pumpkin out there and it's still completely green.

Picked 8 pumpkins today and don't know how many more are either not ready or hidden to the point I can't see them.

If anyone wants some pumpkin seeds and tomato seeds let me know. I'm drying them out right now

Found some more tomatoes today that were buried under the weeds and pumpkin plants. I will post pictures tomorrow
