Dahlia… There is wintergreen Gaultheria planted by my pond . It’s in a sheltered area next to the home patio area. It’s a real trooper plant . Tough plant that has survived severe winters as well as super hot summers. Been bloomin right on que for many years. Enjoy !

I never use chemical fertilizer. It always seems to boost plant growth over the top attracting more insects that like to munch and destroy them as well as ground munching critters. I’m not the gardener I am the gate keeper.
