    The black ones were unexpectedly large last year. They are Black Coat Runner Bean. As for the pink ones, I believe it was supposed to be a light kidney bean from my soup bean mix experiment. It was such a lovely shade of pink.

    I have not yet tried that one. I just bought some Rosa's Beans from Small House Farm. Though, it looks like they can be quite dark when fully ready.
