I don’t really grow any vegetables at this stage in our life. (Tomatoes in pots sometimes, but not this year.) But I do like to plant the root ends of grocery store green onions whenever possible. Today I’m using some in my potato salad.

I just read this whole thread! My takeaway is that if it’s meant for animals to eat it, it’s probably ok for people to eat it, just maybe a bit more impurities included. (But if you’re eating sunflower seeds, you can probably pick any impurities out.)

Oh no! I missed it! Somehow I thought it was later in the month, and it just this minute occurred to me that I needed to find out what the dates were. I’m pretty disappointed. DH was busy all last weekend and I was free to do whatever I wanted. (I mostly went yarn shopping! 🙉🙈🤑🙊)

One of the troubles I have with (some) hoses is if the end swivels too much and I can’t screw a spray nozzle on tightly enough because it just twists the hose end around and around instead of screwing onto it. Sometimes I am able to get it on all the way with no leaks, but other times it drips...
