    Ducks ALIVE in 2025!

This answers my question. I was going to ask, if the one of your attorney friend’s GSDs “blondes out” as you put it, would that DQ it for the show ring? Would there be a chance he would let you have that one? But I see now that these will be your puppies, not his! Do you have plans to show them...

Your bouquet is a work of art, but these flowers look beautifully arranged just in that bucket!!

What are You Eating from the Garden?

I don’t really grow any vegetables at this stage in our life. (Tomatoes in pots sometimes, but not this year.) But I do like to plant the root ends of grocery store green onions whenever possible. Today I’m using some in my potato salad.

    Coffee

Getting one of her dogs back has got to mean an awful lot to that lady. ❤️ If you see those boys again, you should ask them if they want to earn a little cash weeding!

"Not for human consumption" seeds. Have you snacked on some?

Right. But then those wouldn’t be the ones being marketed as animal feed.

    Organic gardening 2025

Kind of late responding to this, but yes, if both your females are mallard-derived breeds (I.e. normal domestic ducks) then your drake will breed them both. But I believe that very few of them would go broody and hatch and raise their own offspring. Muscovy ducks on the other hand (the other...

"Not for human consumption" seeds. Have you snacked on some?

This is a good point. Recently I googled a question and the AI overview said yes. Then I wanted more actual results, so I changed the way I worded the question. This time the AI said no. 🤷🏼‍♀️ People are just going to have to learn not to trust the AI.

"Not for human consumption" seeds. Have you snacked on some?

I just read this whole thread! My takeaway is that if it’s meant for animals to eat it, it’s probably ok for people to eat it, just maybe a bit more impurities included. (But if you’re eating sunflower seeds, you can probably pick any impurities out.)

    Rose thread + poll!

Did you spray yours with the hose too? 🤭

    Ducks ALIVE in 2025!

Oh no! I missed it! Somehow I thought it was later in the month, and it just this minute occurred to me that I needed to find out what the dates were. I’m pretty disappointed. DH was busy all last weekend and I was free to do whatever I wanted. (I mostly went yarn shopping! 🙉🙈🤑🙊)

Garden Hose End Protection From Corrosion or Lime Scale

One of the troubles I have with (some) hoses is if the end swivels too much and I can’t screw a spray nozzle on tightly enough because it just twists the hose end around and around instead of screwing onto it. Sometimes I am able to get it on all the way with no leaks, but other times it drips...

    The Cat's Outta the Bag!

I have a cage like that! This came with a pear shaped candle in it, but I switched it out for an old cat candle because I thought it would be cute.

    What are you canning now?

Last 8 pints in the canner and here is what’s left. So 65 pints total from this many bones, and about 96 hours of slow cooking. 8 times running the canner:

    What are you canning now?

That is a very generous offer. Thank you! I will have to try to remember that if I do. Thank you! Only seal once…😉😉 There is already Sharpie writing on those that I couldn’t get off. 🤭 Thank you! So I did go buy more jars on Thursday. And I got sidetracked by going to other stores as well and...

    Ducks ALIVE in 2025!

This looks exactly like a side table (not full size dining table) that we had from my husband’s grandmother. I don’t think ours had a drawer. It was actually supposed to go to my sister in law but we owned it for 10 or 15 years until someone driving to Colorado had room in their vehicle for it.
