I put the waste hay from my goats pens straight onto the garden and havent had a problem. It's not timothy though it's star grass.

Lovely goats. It's fun to see them head butting and playing. They certainly know who is queen in my herd.

Beavis - you are correct. In my experience that is exactly what a 'prayer plant' does, it leaves come up (like hands coming together in prayer) and then open back out again. Quite normal behaviour.
