Hi Monty, If you are having any issues with pasty butt the ACV will help with that. Also a "treat" of their normal feed with a little finely ground flax seed moistened with plain non fat yogurt will help keep them regular. Hope this helps:)

It's those wing feathers that have me wondering. In the second picture they stick out from both wings and don't lay flat. I guess time will tell. They sure are growing fast.:)

I read somewhere that you can hollow them out and bundle a bunch together and hang out for certain species of bees. Thought about trying that this season. :)

Along with the long germination time they also need a long growing season to fully mature. I had two plants last year that produced a couple dozen peppers. Only six of the peppers hung in there long enough to turn red but they lacked the heat they are known for. It might be our cool nights...

Now that it's a new year and spring is right around the corner to scratch the planting itch I planted two small trays of micro greens. Basicall a blend of beets, chards, turnips and cabbage. We've been sorting seeds and planning this garden. Spring is just around the corner right???:)
