Do you think that maybe they ment they steralized the jars in the dishwasher? I have read that folks do that, but not canning in one. I have 2 presto canners and wish I had 2 more.

It looks like dewberries to me also.

I do not reuse the lids but I do keep and reuse the rings. Before storeing the jars I remove the rings and wash them, dry them good and save for the next year. Before useing them I check each one for rust or dents and get rid of them if necessary.

I have 2 Nesco dehydrators, one I got a Wallyworld on sale the other I got at a Sundry store and they both work great.

I planted them in October of 07, and harvested them this year when the leaves turned brown.
