My SIL/BIL out in AZ built their home from straw bales. I dunno if they did it because of evironmental stuff or just to save on their elec bill. I haven't ever seen it.... :/

DH wanted me to tell you - the torsion spring CAN be rebuilt. He has the technology....lol He says if you cut here and apply a couple of wedges there then bend some thingy (part of the coil, I think) over you will have an extension spring :hu

The bloom is pretty but so is the leaf color!
