Thank you. Actually the backyard gets a lot of sun. We have several cedars on the north side, and some hardwood trees on the west, but the new iris garden gets sun from about 9am until 5 or so. The fact that I have a bud is encouraging.

Watching Caesar's show and reading his book helped me with my third and most difficult dog, Tirzah. Previous training methods did not work on her. At 18 months something clicked, and she became the best behaved dog, incredibly intelligent, just wonderful. I miss her.

I was a Burpee seeds fan for years, but haven't had reliable availability in the local stores. Baker Creek has some good vegetables but inconsistent germination so I tried Seed Savers. I'm VERY happy so far. And they have a gorgeous catalog!
