    I didn't find an answer to this, so if its already been asked, sorry, but..... if fluorescent lighting like shop lights can be used indoors for starting seedlings or growing; what about the curly que lights? aren't they a fluorescent of sorts?

    No its not just you, I use Preen in my flower beds and it went up a dollar and a half, I noticed that every thing in general in garden section is on the rise, I picked seeds up in the fall so don't know if they have gone up yet.

    I want to plant now!

    I gave in and planted some seeds! couldn't help it! I figured the ground was bare any way and if something came up and thrived great and if not; nothing lost. I'm trying peas, beets, kale, brocoli, brussel sprouts and onions. Got some holes dug for some fruit trees, loving this weather!
