First time gardener! Searching for tips

Thank you! My basil is about twice the size now! It's very exciting but now it's starting to wilt and die :( and I can't figure out why. In the next few days, I will probably end up taking some samples back to the nursery I bought it from because 99% of the leaves are wilting, which makes me sad...

Can I grow raspberries/blackberries in SoCal?

I don't know about types of blackberries, but I've been growing blueberries this past summer (very similar to raspberries in the way they grow) and they've been doing well (I also am from L.A.) so you'll probably do okay growing them where you're at. Good luck with your garden :D

    Tiny tomatoes, Tiny Jalapenos

I'd suggest not enough nutrients but you said you adjusted your soil. Perhaps you just got a bad plant that didn't wanna take off... :/ Good luck with your next garden though.. :watering

    Suggestions for Newbie please

I'm a newbie too but we're growing squash in our garden right now (it's usually pretty warm in my area) and it seems to really be doing great. But you gotta watch out with squash - those vines love to go all over the place and take over! Very beautiful, though :D

First time gardener! Searching for tips

Do you think a time released stake would work ok? I know that my annuals don't necessarily NEED fertilizer, but since it's only got one growing season I want to make the best of it. Thanks!

First time gardener! Searching for tips

Any suggestions for fertilizer? I'm thinking that perhaps my basil is taking all the nutrients out of the soil and I'd like to encourage my sage to grow more. And thank you! :D Your advice is helpful

Thank you! The basil I have cut so far has been delicious (in my opinion, much better than anything I've ever gotten at the store :D)

First time gardener! Searching for tips

I'm new to gardening. Previously the things I've tried to grow all died (mostly my fault for having a brown thumb and letting them die) so now that I'm an adult, I'm trying again! I have a little herb garden that I've started with rosemary, sage, 2 basil plants (both sweet) and Italian flat leaf...
