Actually, this is a red bellied woodpecker! LOL, A pink tinge on the tummy gives it it's name. Our Red-headed woodpecker is larger and has a fully red head. (Photo of it below, not a photo I took but from a reference guide.)

This hits hard this Christmas. As I am recently widowed. Husband passed Dec. 16th.
