Hey...The onions are either brown or red onions. I don't remember if the guy said that you were suppose to start pulling the dirt away so that the onion could grow fuller. tink

From what I know they need to be 6 inches apart. So figure it that way....you could put in 48. I might try 36 or so. If it looks too tight when they start coming up you can always thin them out. Tink

Hey Calee...I live in the upstate too. I see all those as weeds..except for the first one. Could it be lambs ear? Or it could be another beautiful weed that we have here. All of those are growing in my fields....very prolific.... Tink
