    Show us your tomatoes

I don't know whether what I planted was OTV. I got them from a local non-big-chain nursery as starts. One pink, one red. I got a huge amount of foliage from the pink. The red went in late and with a cage instead of the tall trellis the rest had. It sprawled everywhere and gave some fruit...

My tomatoes were prolific here in the Central Plains. I planted fewer plants, but got my largest and longest ever harvest. I grew Orange Oxheart, Black Prince, Brandywine both Pink and Red, San Marzano, Mortgage Lifter, Boxcar Willie, Yellow Pear, Lemon Boy, Sweet Cluster, Early Girl, Sugary...

I grew bush wax beans starting the second year, but didn't grow pole beans until this year. I like the wax beans, but I'm sold on the pole beans. I will be planting a lot more next season. I love the ease of picking the pole beans.

    New from Nebraska

I'm new to TEG. I gardened in Arizona before I moved to Nebraska. I started in AZ with a flat gravel moonscape front yard with a huge, scraggly attack cholla, and ended up with a contoured garden of cactuses and desert trees, some of which were volunteers that I pruned into healthy trees...
