Hello, all! I've been busy with more hours at work and haven't had a chance to pop in and read the thread until now! We had an abnormally late first frost this year. Usually Oct 15, but first one came Nov 1!! It was very much appreciated as some of my beans needed the extra two weeks...

I am harvesting more and more each day, some still only have young green pods, hope they mature soon!! I am worried for them. Some types are long done and dried...
Haha, wasn't an intentional display. Just sorting them, they then go to their own plates. I have quite a few plates now. September and October will mean no room on the dining table if all goes well. But for now, here is a mini sampler, for your enjoyment
I see hummingbirds every day on the red flowered Ugandan Bantu Outcross! Definitely has runner parentage because it drops flowers in hot weather like a hot potato
My family's French Pole Bean. Yes, they are that scarlet! It's a poor year for them, I really think they need a cool spring, planting them when it was hot was a bad idea, I believe they are used to it cold springs.
Great news!! I thought I had lost Galupka (Baker Creek Doesn't carry anymore) but now my row of Blue Lake bush has lots of yellow in it, I must've accidentally combined the seeds since they look identical! I have some blossom-bagged, so I am happy to be able to save them and grow them out next...
