    I just noticed it popping up on our hillside. About 15 in one area. Central Alabama. The area had pine trees but they were cut down last summer. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks in advance.

    The day I took the picture is the first time I found this plant. The land was recently thinned (pine trees) and I was wandering around where it was cut (a couple months prior).

    I found this growing wild on the side of our hill. Central Alabama. Spotted it in early October. It covers a large area (basic idea - 30x30ft). Lots of honey bees on it. 3 pictures included. Thank you!
