Hi everyone,
I had planted some in the same spot as last year, but these two got alot more sun. Can't believe it made it though those 100 degree days we had, figured it would be cooked.
Got my hubby to stake it, the cage kept falling over, it's around 8 ft tall.
It's so neat...

Hey yall, got a mystery going on here.

This plant has never bloomed, but it sure got big! It's over 6ft tall.
Here's a close up of the leaves, they don't smell like a marigold. :idunno
Hi,
I've been researching online, one site says to leave them on the vine & others to pick when they are 8 tp 10 inches long. :idunno
Has anyone on here grown them ?
Thanks, Miriam :)
Hi yall,
We've have been blessed with another harvest with our blackberries this year. We don't drink but, we'd be willing to try some homemade wine. :P LOL !
If anyone has a good recipe to share & any tips, we'd love to hear them.
Thanks, Miriam :)
I have no idea what they are, but I want them gone!!!!
The pests are tear drop shaped & they are sucking the life out of my clematis. :(
I've tired hosing them off & tired using soapy water. I'm at a loss on how to get rid of them without using chemicals. There are also some Lady bugs that...
Hi yall, I've tired growing some (can't remember the kind) & ended up killing it.
Do any of yall know what would grow good here in north Louisiana?
Thanks, Miriam
Hope this is the right place :)
I'm searching for some to plant, need the name of them.
I'm wanting the type with the big sunflower heads. I've ordered the stripe seeds before, but I would rather have the kind that are good for the chickens.
Thank you,Miriam
How would I go about it? It's an heirloom type can't remember what kind right now. :caf
Is it better to let the fruit dry on the plant or remove the fruit when it matures???
Thanks,Miriam :)
Looks like I've got a bumper crop of asparagus yardlong beans. Our first time growing them, not sure how to go about it. I was talking to my MIL, she mentioned blanching them in hot water, let them cool & freeze them. Would that work?
Thanks,Miriam :)

My hubby was walking the dogs & hollered at me to come see. They were on one of the fig trees out back.

I'm not sure of the correct name for these, maybe concord??
I was wondering do you prune them every yr ? These have been planted several yrs ago & we will finally able to run water directly to them this yr.Maybe the will get bigger with lots of water.
Any advice would be appreicated, Miriam
We have lots of these at the back of our place. They are spiney & real tough weeds. We let a few mature so the butterflies & bees can enjoy. The blooms are pretty too.
