4H ends Rabbit run

Yesterday the 4H of Clark County, Wa. announced that it is dissolving the longest running rabbit club in Clark County due to loss in membership. Kids have a habit in growing up. In 2014 the rabbit club won Wash. State Best Community Pride Club Award., donated 14,000 pounds of food . Every year the members would breed rabbits for meat as part of the club's Bunnies Battling Hunger Program. and in addition raised over $5,000 for the food bank. SAD !!! What a loss .

Aw! That is so sad. Are the children all at home playing on their computer games or are the parents vegetarians and against raising rabbit for food? Either way, it is a lose, lose, lose preposition. The kids lose, the parents lose, and the community loses.

Aww, that's terrible. Kids learn so much from caring for animals. Sounds like there was quite a good rabbit club there at one time. What a shame there is lack of participation.
