I do not really have vivid dreams or ones that I remember, but right after DH died I did and I told this to DD, DS, and best friend and thought nothing of it other than it was a dream. I am pretty sure I dreamed it because I had discussed these things with DS and had this on my mind. I told DS I wanted to rearrange the furniture in my bedroom. I also had things I needed to get done outside and one was clean off the patio and dump this barrel of water before winter came. I put it there a couple of years ago to collect rain water to water seedlings. Last year I helped DH walk around the garden and look at things and he said to me the water needed to be dumped and I said but I want to use it for the seedlings soon. Never thought about this again and later I did use the water, so now he is gone and I am thinking of cleaning the yard, etc. So, I had a dream after telling DS this. I dreamed DH and I were on the patio and he said he would dump the water for me. Then, I showed him the bedroom and how I rearranged the furniture, which I have not done, just thought about it, but in my dream it was rearranged. He did not seem happy about it and then turned to leave the room and was off balance and fell, which before he died is what happened to him a lot and in my dream I called DS to help me get him up, which in real life happened several times. I just woke up and remembered it the next day and told DS, DD, and later best friend, no big deal, just a dream and not looking for a meaning of it Well, now it has been about 2 months or so and the other day we were getting a lot of rain and then some ice. I noticed the barrel full and thought I need to dump that, because it is not really a barrel, but one of those city recycle bin things and when it freezes it kind of bulges. The next day I went out in the yard to feed the rabbits and when coming back in the door I noticed the barrel was empty. FIRST thought for some reason came to my mind was the dream. Then, I thought well it must have been DS, so I asked him and he said no he didn't and he said it must have a leak and I said no and he said he would put a 5 gallon bucket of water in and see, so he did and it did not leak. I told my friend and she said your DB must have come over and emptied it and I said no, but I will ask him. He said why would I do that, I said just asking. Next day I told him about the dream thinking I am going to get laughed at. He did not say nothing about the dream, said must be a slow leak. I said I guess we will find out when it rains and it rains on and off and it is filling and the 5 gallons still in there. DB is a very down to earth guy, so when he came over today and just talking about other things he casually goes to the door and looks out at the barrel and I said it is filling up. He said nothing and went outside to help DS work on the car. My question is what happened? There is no way this thing could have fell over and stood back up. It is in the back of the house next to the door. Nobody goes there. It is not like it is so big I could not empty this or need DH to do it for me, it is just a little barrel, more bucket, but holds maybe 25 or 30 gallons. It is sitting to collect water off the roof for rain water for the plants. I guess I would not even post this if DB had laughed and said no way could the dream and water be connected, but he looks curious and wondering himself. Have any of you had odd experiences like this?

I'm glad that you can reach out to others with information about your world. You are showing love.

Some adjustments are difficult. And, they involve many things, not just what we can get down in a text box or on a paper in a lawyer's office. Some things are as hard as basalt or as weak as ash or as fluid as rainwater.

There is something so right about demanding of the universe that there be clarity. There is also a right of self-care - an attention to personal welfare and a self-directed kindness. That isn't likely to involve facts, as some might identify them.

Even those who are deeply knowledgeable about one or two things in the universe will admit that knowledge opens up more doors to questions.

If it were MY dream I would thank the Lord for His assurance that all is well and that He will meet my needs. A manifestation of His love and care or you and your family.

"Have any of you had odd experiences like this?"

In a word, yes. Don't ask me to explain it because I can't, mine is seeing something that has just happened or is about to that there is no way I could have known about it. It's a real eerie feeling. Thankfully it doesn't happen very often.

perhaps you sleep walked and emptied it. no idea for sure...

I have seem many things at night most of my life along with those very clear dreams. I have had many very clear dreams from past loved ones. Just had one of many of my long gone relatives at a family party in my house.. Also dreamt of my jr. HS french teacher. That was really weird. I do know she liked me a lot. perhaps she is gone know and stopped in to say good by. My children experienced my brother talking to them at night for about a year after he passed, when they were very young. Now my 4 year old grandsons is having dreams that scare him. However I have never had any physical work being done from the other side. It sure seems like a visit from the other side. Just enjoy it as fact and forget about proving or disproving it. Ask him to mow the lawn.

First go rearange your bedroom, change is a good thing. I rearange my furniture every time i get bored. If you going to do that run to home depot get a gallon of paint and rollers. Don't worry about doing a profession job. A new paint job makes thing fresh and clean. I have been seeing a sleep specialist for past 15 years. I now sleep 1 to 3 hours a night and have vied dreams, a lot of times the dreams do happen. Even people working in sleep labs know very little about our brains and sleep. I use to sleep walk, I would wake up in strange places of my house. Things like chores would be done, living alone I knew I had to have done them in my sleep. When my business partner died a Jewish client told me when a person dies he stays around for set time ( I forgot how many months) to make sure love ones ok, then they go to heaven. I can believe this my parnter called me twice and his sister once after dyeing. His name and number showed on caller ID

Maybe just buy the paint and leave it out! Rabbits I hope this makes you laugh and is not offensive.
