Any other Central Illinoisans out there?

I've been around this forum and BYC for several years, but I haven't been active lately. We moved to Peoria, IL last year and bought a 1910 Victorian farmhouse that had been vacant for about 4 years. Needless to say we've had our hands full making the house livable - our bedroom is still in the dining room while we work on the upstairs. Anybody else got a chandelier in their bedroom?

We had a mini garden (by our standards) last year, but this year we're going whole hog, and it's been keeping us plenty busy. We've met some really great city folk which is fun, because one of my favorite things to do is show city people around the farm. Now I'd like to get in contact with some local peeps who share our love of hobby farming. Surely there are a few of you out there.

I am kind of a neighbor.... I live about 10 miles north of Davenport, IA
Small town and small yard, 100+ yr old home.
We own 2 acres outside of town where we garden and play.

We live in East Central Illinois, ~ 22 miles SSE of Urbana, in "the town that time forgot", Longview. We're a stone's throw from Douglas County. You're about 2 1/2 hours west of us.
