We got sleet yesterday.

We're getting a dusting ~ hardly any pack ~ they're making snow at the resorts ```

we got a 1/2" of rain yesterday......

Got around 2 in. snow here in the wee hours of the morning. Then it was a sunny day that melted it mostly gone.

Very little snow ~ this year ~ compared to last year ~ still could get a bunch ```

We're supposed to get snow tonight.
The kids were here for dinner last night and afterward sat around talking. One was looking at the forecast and said we were having a winter storm advisory.
So we all took a look on our different devices and got 3 different predictions. Looks like we're going to get anywhere from 2" to 10".
I guess we'll see.

we have a running joke between us because we both use different weather forecasts and usually both are wrong and not even averaging helps. i get to the point where i just use it for a general idea of what might happen and wait to see what does. this past week we've picked up a lot of snow. it will be a bit soggy around here if it melts all at once.
