Autumn Flowers

I picked flowers for a friends Birthday. We went out with them for dinner last night and I forgot the flowers at home! Guess I get to enjoy them now.

There are some Black-eye-Susan's, flea bane, queen Anne's Lace, Cocks-comb, Autumn joy sedum and Hosta blooms.

Oh what a shame you forgot them. I would have taken them to them the next day. Maybe picked fresh ones again.

I thought about it. But is a 45 minute drive each way! I will take her flowers net time we get together.

@Carol Dee , those are so lovely!!! I think I love fall flowers the best and always try to have arrangements of them for any fall gatherings we have. They have a distinctly sweet smell, but not the same kind of sweetness of spring flowers.

One last boutique, I think. Struggled to pick this small bunch.
There are Lantana, 2 colors of Mum, some small maple leaves from the hedge and the white bloom is a weed that always comes up in the hedge!

This morning we had the first very light frost on the car roofs. The dozen plants that I planted that originated from Madagascar last spring for the garden tour are all toast and look like a pile of mush.
