Can a Person Be a Plant Hoarder ?

Actually there is one that probably would be better suited to craftwork than planting no matter how old it is. Amongst the things I often find in my seed searches is an alfalfa realtive called Medicago muricoleptis. As an alfalfa it is all but useless (it's too rangy and scraggy, and in any case, alfalfa really isn't much use if you arent growing a pretty hefty amount of it, and I don't have THAT much seed. But I often wish I had the skill to cast the pods in PMC (precios metal clay) since they are some of the most BEAUTIFUL things I have ever seen (they have alfalfas ramshorn curn , but while alfalfa pods are smooth, muricoleptis pods have small spikes all along the outer edges and deep netting over the pod surcase so they look lite tiny seashells[in fact until I looked it up I was sure that the Medicago I had HAD to be M.murex, becuse the pods so resembled that shell.])

I hoard...lots of things. Spent $30 Friday at Rural King buying bedding plants at 75% off. I DID pick up two lovely tuborous begonias. I managed to keep the two I bought in May alive on the porch, so these are going there, too, and then to my north facing upstairs bedroom windows for next winter.
