Canning Corn Question

When preparing whole corn to be canned, how in the world do you get all the sliks out????????? I probably got 98% of the sliks out, but not all.

Is there a secret? if so will you please please share it with me???

98%!!! That's pretty good by my standards. I have just figured it's kind of like picking beans...you never get them all. I put up 4 quarts of corn this morning and I just ignore those silks I miss after a while. Some ears seem to de-silk (is that a word?) much easier than others.

If there is a trick to getting them all, I would like to hear about it too.
