Christmas Gifts for Gardener

I think my friends know me well ,some gifts I got 1 christmas cactus 1 orchid 4 differnt amarylls. Did you get anything for your garden hobby?

I got a bucket liner for garden hand tools and some grass shears. The rest were chicken themed. My boys know me very well!

I don't think I ever get garden-related Christmas gifts.

My birthday is in early spring. Gifts then, are different. Boy, are they! My family really seems to enjoy giving me composted cow manure for my birthday!

Manure! What a great gift...

Manure is not cheap when you have to buy it. Composted and delivered is a few hundred a dump truck.

Nothing garden related, but I will probably buy myself an elderberry bush with some of the money I was given.

I got a $100 gift certificate for a local nursery! It was so unexpected. One of my kids left in June to go to kindergarden and I didn't get to see the parents to say good bye because the grandmother picked up the child. So 6 months later, the parents stops by with a card! I won't be getting a big item since I don't have room for any more fruit trees or big pots. Will probably use it for tomatoe plants and other starts.

asked for a game camera, well how about that there was one under the tree. takes pretty darn good pictures. now we can see what's roaming around the property day and night. ok in a general area of it.....

and it takes great photos of the neighbor's dog that they claim never comes down here to poop..
