Climbing Rose Iceberg

This spring I bought a Iceberg climbing rose. I know Iceberg also has a bush form. It is in my plant ghetto waiting to be planted. I noticed today it has 4 rose bubs, I thought climbing roses flower on old wood, I am wondering now if I really have the climbing and not bush form. Can a climbing rose with only a few inches of growth flower ?

Thanks Ducks was interesting that they think climbers might be less effected by pest and disease . I still think mine is mislabeled, time will tell.
