time for big red's oil and fuel filter change..380,000 miles on her
oil and filter every 7-8k
fuel filter every other oil change
air filter every 3 oil changes
this time it was just oil/filter and fuel filter...105.00 cough
stopped at car quest yesterday picked up the oil filter 18.00...normal price.
stopped at advance auto yesterday to pick up the fuel filter they wanted 49.00 told the the chickie poo thats the wrong price.. no sir look here.
um you can keep it 2 months ago it was 21.00... off i went laughing.
after looking at everyone's site thats the going price for a purolator fuel filter or any brand that fit my truck, for laughs looked at napa well whole cow there you go napa gold brand for 26.00
have used shell rotella t-3 15w-40 since the day i bought her, shell has stopped making it. as of today putting t4 15w-40, looking around to see who had the best price. dang everyone was proud of their oil. believe it or not tractor supply had the best price 60.00 for a 5 gallon pail everyone else was 18.99 a gallon. so buying by there only payed 12.00 per gallon with an extra gallon... do the math....
truck holds 4 gallons...
needless to say big red might have a little rust on her and a little hiccup now and then..cough cough
can trust her compared to newer diesel trucks.....
looking forward to rolling 500k in her......
