Your weather news this morning has national attention.

"Up to 2"/hour" rain from thunderstorms! Flash flooding possible. Don't want to be on low ground as water accumulates. Don't want to be on high ground with the lightning! Don't want to be on a slope, water moves.

How are you doing ... your home (roadways, power, etc.)??

My flooding was yesterday. I hope it's clear today. My Catfish are sure happy. They have a full pond of water.

Are we sure that we want @Ridgerunner to move back to Louisiana??

Here at home, yesterday: except ... except ... @Collector . I had my jobs kinda backward, weatherwise. My jacket was off with the morning's high 40's and I was busy with cleaning old paint off my big gate into the backyard. Since I didn't remove the boards, the drill-mounted wire brush was doing most of the work. DUSTY! I tried to stay upwind.

Then, in the afternoon -- the sun had gotten around to my work location, temperature was in the high 50's. But! The winds were above 20mph! This time, I was using the paint brush .... no dust! Sun in my face .... jacket buttoned up ...

Steve ;)

We got 2 1/4 inches of rain. It was nice to stay inside for a change. I made Angel food cake, then used the yolks to make Crème Brulee. Then I made a couple of pound cakes, did laundry and cooked tacos for supper.
