From the “Greatest Generation” Harold was assigned to a field unit of General MacArthur’s headquarters in the Army/Air Force. With a strong aptitude for Morse Code, Harold was selected to enter a secret intelligence school to learn how to intercept, copy and jam the Japanese Katakana Code. Harold served on 7 different islands in the North & South Pacific
