Deeply Rooted
Just got my first order of seeds for the new year from JL Hudson!
Now I just have to be patient and wait for spring. I ordered a whole bunch of high-protein grains, greens, seeds and herbs for the chickens, plus some flowers for me and the future bees.
I'm going to get my bee plants established 2009-2010, then get the bees in 2010. Want to be sure they will have plenty of food in early spring and late fall, so I got hellebore seeds to start in early spring and I'm ordering a bunch of witch hazels and Amelanchiers from Forest Farm.
Also got some flowers for everlastings for myself. We have lots of wild white yarrow, white roses and those whitish-green hydrangeas around the yard, so I got some apricot and blue statice to make dried bouquets.
I'm so excited! Arrgh now I have to go back to cutting quilt squares. Booor-ing!
