From what I read ..

. production amounts to very little without a growing season of about 8 months, @Collector .

That 2016 picture was from the better of 2 plants. They went in the pots earlier this year and are taller.

This plant did much better than those in 2016. However, the original root didn't look so great so it isn't coming in to the kitchen.

Saying that the original is useful doesn't mean that it is wonderful. I mean, don't these look super useful?!

Harvest from 1 plant this year, spent mostly sitting right outside the greenhouse but with quite a bit of time, inside.

oh, and the original root is the one there on the bottom right – will be the first to be used
