There are more dangerous, less regulated things out there then this. Not to mention they have too many laws and regulations for TOO many things that can't back up to inspect and enforce.
One way or another they should be out there figuring out how to enforce what they have before throwing something else on their plates.
Besides, its so danged vague its going to be YEARS before they unjumble it to make any rhyme or reason to what they want to accomplish.
One thing they need to go out and regulate and fix, is that law making people have workers comp for their employees. They just had an article that in NC almost 10% of businesses have let their workers comp insurance lapse, or never had any at all! ...and those places of business hire random people not family who they need to have more liability for.
Federal government, always trying to create new laws and regulations.... never enforcing or reviewing what they got to make it work!
