An aquaintance from another board posted these pictures. It is time to reduce direct sun coming in the greehouse windows.

I like that :).

My little greenhouse is quite homely. I'm sure that my immediate neighbors have given up on the idea of me painting the north wall exterior. But, I like the look of cedar!

Moreover, if they think that north wall is homely, they could look at the plastic film covered south wall. The advantage there is that it is difficult to see that wall from outside my yard because of nearby garages and a board fence. One thing about summer sun and the need for shade is that the sun is so far in the north sky rising and setting, and so high at noon, that the north wall and roof shade the interior.

Homely or otherwise, in the flower bed on the north side, I have hollyhocks and Canterbury bells every year :). Now, if I was just artsy crafty ...
