Our neighbors usually do that, too, but not this year (yet)Wishing everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Year !Now to get some shuteye since I couldn't get enough due to all of the neighborhood fireworks ( like 4th of July ) that started yesterday at noon then they really took off just before midnight to 1 AM.
Naps are really underrated. I love naps. When I was a little girl, Dad used to come home for lunch, and after he ate and watched a bit of news, He would stretch out flat on the floor and nap for about 20 minutes. He would wake up and go back to an afternoon of hard physical work. I always associate the theme song for "As The World Turns" with Dad napping on the living room floor.
As I age, a nappy may become a necessity, but I'd rather take one than wear one.
