Best part of gardening is EATING what you grow. Fresh out of garden is so much better than produce picked out of store.

if you've never had fresh garden peas...

there's nothing wrong at all with growing flowers and plants, but i like to have something back for my efforts even if it is only a handful of beans.

from central Illinois!!! Our state's are expensive so any sweet pepper that I can grow and dehydrate pays for the sweet peppers and CRUMMY ILLINOIS TAXES that I don't have to pay the state!
